Posts: 9 | So I had this crazy idea today that I was hoping you guys could help me flesh out. I want to make my Monk basically into a twink for dunes, similar to what people did with level 19 characters in WoW.
I don't have a ton of knowledge of this game so I need help trying to figure out what level to make him shine at. Obviously I don't want to have all level 17 gear because then I'll only be awesome for one level, but I also don't know if any worthwhile gear is available at let say 14.
If you can think of any fancy equipment, let me know!
Also if this is a dumb idea, please just tell me lol. Last time I played this game was when CoP came out...so I pretty much have 0 knowledge or level sync or how to take advantage of it. Maybe people already have a similar idea to mine already all figured out but do it elsewhere? K im rambling bye

Posts: 21 | You don't need to stop at an earlier level in this game. Level sync will temporarily lower your level to someone else's in your party. Just invest in some Republic Knuckles and get the Purple Belt.

Posts: 25 | Get the best gear you can get for levels 14-19 and just keep finding groups to sync with, tons of players already twink they just don't have a name for it, basically cause most ppl grind xp in dunes and quifim already.
Just try to keep a few weapons to match it up with level of your group if this is what you want to do I am sure the fist suggested would be fine

But I think the biggest stat bonuses will come from jewelry at that level, so Courage Rings, Bone Earrings +1. Power Gi, Battle Gloves and/or Footman Gloves, White Belt, and finally Leaping Boots if you're a masochist. The rest of slots are sorta just defense. As for weapon I'm not too sure, something with high dmg and low delay... Strike Baghnaks or Federationo Baghnaks?
Then there's food, but I'm too lazy to research that ;-P

@Jei, people used to make lvl 19 characters for the 10-19 PvP bracket and then equip the best possible gear they could find which would include a lot if stuff that was far from normal to be having at that level.
@Rocinante, yea I figured stat bonuses would be the best too. They make such an impact at lower levels.

PvM summoner best gear question.Hi,
I have been playing a basic summoner on non-ladder battle.net (europe) for a while.
And i think that some items i use are not the best possible items for this build.
There are 3 parts of my equipment which i think could get higher +skele / + skele masteries skils:
-weapon, is the King Leorics staff the best possible? and what would be the best possible mods for a necro weapon?
-head, i currently have a random +2 skill head, but i assume that a magic +3 summon circlet would give the highest +skills here.
-shield (shrunken head), this is the real question, what would give a better boost in skills for summoning then the standard +3 skill shield described in all guids.
It seems to me that a magic shield with +3 skele and +3 skele masteries and +3 summon skills should be possible. Is this shield possible, and if yes would some one have any clue on where to find it? and if it can be traded for, since thus far i have not seen any.

Shields with +5:
A rare necro head with a high qlvl. Then combined in the cube with the 6 pskull recipe to lower the ilvl to 24 or less. This shield gets high level prefixes, and low level staff mods.
Warning, very low chance of getting this, and your character has to have the right level, and you have to have the right head. Even then, it's very hard to get this. Many pskulls required, together with patience and luck
if i read this correctly then u take some gold (or yellow?) shrunken head and cube it with 6 perfect skulls and one then has a chance to get +3 skele, +3 skele masteries and +2 summon skills as max. Thus a +5 summon skill max.
