Jacob Carl Schindler (born September 25, 1989) is an American professional poker player from Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania known for his accomplishments in live and online poker tournaments.
Early life[edit]
- Poker Masters is the only High Roller Triple Crown series that remains unconquered, but that could change if Schindler continues his stellar run of big buy-in finishes. Daniel Negreanu enters the Event 5 final table as the short stack and outside the Poker Masters Championship Standings top-twenty.

Poker career[edit]
Schindler began playing live tournaments in 2009. Schindler plays online on PokerStars poker under the alias CaLLitARUSH. In September 2013, he won the World Championship of Online Poker earning nearly $150,000.[1]
Later that year Schindler WPT Five Diamond 100k event, winning $1,332,000 in the process. In the 2018 year, he made 31 final tables, the record for the year, beating Stephen Chidwick who made 26. His success in 2018 earned him the Card Player Player of the Year Award. As of 2018, Schindler has won over $23,000,000 from live poker tournaments. During his rise as a poker player, Schindler played online at PokerStars under the screenname ‘CaLLitARUSH’. With a WCOOP title to his name in 2013, Jake had much success in the online MTT scene in that year and finished in the top 0.02% of players according to the Official Poker Rankings site. However, he experienced issues with PokerStars.
His first success at the World Series of Poker was in 2011 where he cashed in the $5,000 No Limit Hold'em - Six Handed and the $1,000 No Limit Hold'em events. In August 2018, Schindler won the SHRPO High Roller for $800,758, defeating Shaun Deeb heads up.[2] Later that year Schindler WPT Five Diamond 100k event, winning $1,332,000 in the process.[3] In the 2018 year, he made 31 final tables, the record for the year, beating Stephen Chidwick who made 26.[4] His success in 2018 earned him the Card Player Player of the Year Award.[5]
As of 2018, Schindler has won over $23,000,000 from live poker tournaments. He is the all-time money leader in Pennsylvania.[6]

The Jake Schindler, referred to here as ‘this dude I never seen before’ came over to the table and unracked a few towers of thousand dollar chips, a few pretty pink $25,000s, and a neat little stack of the Bellagio’s oversized $100k baccarat chips for a total buy in of $2 million.
Imagine making change for all the $20 chips he needed for the blinds.

If you think a buy in like that would buy you some respect you would be way wrong. The game got pretty raucous after that; when Schindler got caught bluffing, Yang also nearly took his eye out with a wildly flung burger bun.
